With all the fun holiday activities around Christmas time I believe I have found my favorite one! When I was younger I used to participate in our church’s Ladies Christmas tea and it was always a nice time – but I was always a guest.
Now that we have started going back to church, I volunteered this year to host a table! Basically when ladies sign up to host a table – you are to decorate and fill your table with guests (or you can have an open table and they will seat people for you).

I went with a Winter Wonderland theme
I found those ceramic Christmas houses at the local Good Will and followed THIS Pinterest Idea to make them white and added the gold to fit my theme.
I found these beautiful chargers, plates and glass tea cups at the Dollar Store … Yep! $1 each!
Each lady received an ornament with their name on it … I used THIS Pinterest Idea to make them. So easy and inexpensive – and they received the most compliments {I found all the materials at Walmart}
All of the hostess brought a breakfast casserole and guests all brought a little dish … there were 358 ladies! There was more food than you could even imagine!
I invited my Mom, Grandma, Sister-in-law Nichole, Sister-in-law Victoria, my friend Chelsea and her mom, and my brother’s girlfriend Larissa. It was a great mix of ladies and everyone really seemed to enjoy seeing / meeting each other.
It was a great time and great to gather people that do not normally see each other, share really yummy dishes, and best of all – remember what the Christmas Season is really about, Jesus.
I’m already brainstorming for ideas for next year!!
